How to get to
the Conference Venue
Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University is situated on the sea-coast across
Fındıklı tram station, where stops the tram (T1) running between Bağcılar and Kabataş.
The transit center Kabataş is 10 minutes walk away from the university, where is
a funicular (F1) to Taksim (city center), buses to several areas in İstanbul,
as well as sea transport to Asian side.
The tram T1 runs between 06:00 - 00:00 with 2 minutes intervals.
The funicular F1 runs between 06:15 - 00:00 with 3 minutes intervals.
From Atatürk Airport:
By metro
Take the metro line (M1) to Zeytinburnu. It runs between 06:00 - 00:00
with 5 minutes intervals.
From Zeytinburnu, take the tram (T1) to Fındıklı.
By bus
Take the bus 96T (Atatürk Havaalanı-Taksim) to Taksim. It runs between
07:00 – 21:00 weekdays, 07:00 – 05:30 weekends.
From Taksim, take the funicular (F1) to Kabataş.
From Kabataş, you can either walk, or take the tram (T1) to Fındıklı.
There is the Havataş shuttle service from the airport to Taksim every
half an hour between 04:00 - 01:00.
From Taksim, you can take the funicular (F1) to Kabataş, where you can
change to the tram (T1), or walk to Fındıklı.
By taxi
Taxis are avaible 24 hours a day outside the terminal. It would cost
about 40-50 TL to Fındıklı.
From Sabiha Gökçen Airport:
By bus
Take the bus E-9 (Bostancı- Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanı) to Bostancı IDO. It
runs between 06:55 -23:10.
From Bostancı, you can take the sea-bus to Kabataş. It runs between 7:05
- 19:00.
No schedule between 14:00-17:00 and on weekends.
From Kabataş, you can either walk, or take the tram (T1) to Fındıklı.
Or;
Take the bus SG-2 (Taksim- Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanı) to Taksim. It runs
between 04:00 -01:00.
From Taksim, you can take the funicular (F1) to Kabataş, where you can
change to the tram (T1), or walk to Fındıklı.
By shuttle
There is the Havataş shuttle service from the airport to Taksim every
half an hour between 04:00 - 01:00.
From Taksim, you can take the funicular (F1) to Kabataş, where you can
change to the tram (T1), or walk to Fındıklı.
By taxi
Taxis are avaible 24 hours a day outside the terminal. It would cost
about 70-80 TL to Fındıklı.
From Esenler Bus Station:
By metro
Take the metro (M1) to Aksaray. There is a short walk to the Yusufpaşa
tram station. Take the tram (T1) to Fındıklı.
Or, from Aksaray, take the bus 28T (Topkapı-Beşiktaş) to Fındıklı. The
bus runs between 06:00 – 23:10.
By bus
Take the bus 91O (Otogar-Eminönü) to Karaköy. It runs between 06:00 –
20:15 weekdays, 06:15 -20:10 weekends. From Karaköy, you can take the tram (T1)
to Fındıklı.
By taxi
Taxis are avaible 24 hours a day in the terminal. It would cost about 35-40
TL to Fındıklı.
From Sirkeci Train Station:
By tram
Take the tram (T1) to Fındıklı.
By bus
You have to walk to Eminönü to take any bus. It would take about 10
minutes. From Eminönü, you can take 28 (Edirnekapı-Beşiktaş), 30D
(Dereboyu-Yenikapı), 70KE (Kurtuluş-Eminönü), 26 (Dikilitaş-Eminönü).
By taxi
Taxis are avaible 24 hours a day outside the terminal. It would cost
about 10 TL to Fındıklı.
From Asian part:
From Kadıköy:
By sea
You can take the ship from Kadıköy to Kabataş. The ship company is
called Şehir Hatları and runs between 07:00 – 20:00. There is no schedule between
10:00 -17:30 and on weekends. From Kabataş you can either walk or take the tram
(T1) to Fındıklı.
You can also take the ship from Kadıköy to Karaköy. It runs between 06:15
- 23.00. From Karaköy, you can take the tram (T1) to Fındıklı.
By bus
You can take the bus 110 (Kadıköy-Taksim) to Akaretler-Beşiktaş. It runs
between 06:00-01:00 weekdays, 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. From Beşiktaş,
there are several buses to Kabataş, most frequent ones are 43R (Rumeli
Hisarüstü-Kabataş), 58N (Fatih Sultan Mehmet-Kabataş), 27E (Şirintepe-Kabataş),
29C (Tarabyaüstü-Kabataş).
From Kabataş, you can either walk, or take the tram (T1) to Fındıklı.
From Üsküdar:
By sea
You can take the boat to Kabataş. The boat company is called Dentur and runs
between 06:45-00:00. From Kabataş you can either walk or take the tram (T1) to
Fındıklı.
How to get to
the Workshop and Exhibition Venue
TMMOB Chamber of Architects, İstanbul Metropoliten Branch is located in
Karaköy, acroos the port, about 5 minutes walk to Karaköy tram station, 20
minutes walk to Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
You can either walk from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University to the venue,
or take the tram (T1) to Karaköy.
